  • Abstract
    In a combat simulation system based on High Level Architecture (HLA), different simulation models are usually called according to different simulation purposes. In order to improve the efficiency of developing different simulation systems, this paper designs and develops a Model Driven Platform of Combat Simulation System (MDPCSS) Based on HLA. MDPCSS drives each entity model through calling its model file which is packaged as Dynamic Link Library. The interface specification of Dynamic Link Library file is detailed defined in this paper. Additionally the simulation task configuration is described in a XML file through which MDPCSS can automatically deploy simulation model files to every simulation nodes. Then MDPCSS drives simulation models to communicate with each other based on the Run-Time Infrastructure (RTI). At last, this paper implements an application instance based on MDPCSS, which shows the reusability, extendability and flexibility of MDPCSS.
