  • Abstract
Aiming at the present vacancy of wireless monitoring system in the domestic nature reserve, this paper puts forward a design of portable observation system. Using the passive infrared sensor to detect wild animals and poachers in the natural protection zone, it can photograph, videotape and send pictures to users´ mobile phone and mailbox through the GPRS network to alert their caution. The seamless switch mode of Nimh solar rechargeable battery and the storage battery can provide guarantee for this system to normally operate in the wild. In order to ensure the characteristic of real-time monitoring, the TRON real-time operating system with negligible starting time and the NT series microprocessor NT96211 of high-performance are adopted. The design of the system takes account of the environment and cost, it can provide a proper monitoring platform for each nature reserve and wild animal breeding model base, and offer a new model of automation and informational construction for the nature reserve.
