  • Abstract
Organic gas is easy to generate from the mold materials of relay parts when relay is used in high ambient temperature, and the contact resistance tends to increase due to the adhesion of this organic gas on the contact, which would be the reason of contact failure. In this paper the electrical life tests with the combination of mold materials have been carried out, the constituents of organic gases which generated from the mold materials and the organic ingredients of adhesion on the contact have been investigated. The research results of organic gas which can affect contact resistance and the discussions of optimum materials have been reported.
