We would like to thank Dr. T. K. Wu for raising a valid and important point. Our manuscript included a brief discussion on simple shapes of single-layer frequency-selective surfaces, the filtering response of which is captured by an LC resonator. Due to the limited spaced allocated by us to that section, we unfortunately missed those cases when multiple resonances in a single layer are present [1]. Dr. Wu has rightly pointed out such cases, and hence we take this opportunity to briefly discuss the important class of multi-resonant single-layer surfaces.
