Abstract :
This publication presents an innovative solution proposal for the utilization of local intelligence for circuit-breakers. The concept considers the increasing technical constraints for the targeted wide integration of decentralised and renewable energy sources in the future grids. It covers the demand for a meshed distribution networks caused by volatile local generation of energy and the nonsynchronized energy demand by consumers, the future smart grid prosumers.
