Abstract
Visualization technique is widely used in power system real-time monitoring and decision making. But existing visualization tools lack the ability of data aggregation and the flexibility for user customization. The Operation Cockpit, originated from Management Cockpit, is proposed as a new solution for power system visualization. The basic concepts about Operation Cockpit are introduced. A preliminary framework to implement an Operation Cockpit is presented, including data format, architecture and module design of the system.
