Abstract :
Publish-Subscribe Services have been widely employed in distributed Real-Time applications. However, the standard technologies and model which provide the foundation for Publish-Subscribe Services do not address issues such as fault tolerance and dependability of services. Aiming to supply this gap, this paper describes Quality of Service (QoS) policies and provides concrete strategies and methodologies to improve the implementation of dependable QoS adaptation for Real-Time Publish-Subscribe Services. This framework is responsible for increasing service availability and maintaining best performance of a service. Finally, we make an evaluation based on synthetic data flows and use this framework in a real project named Smart Grid intelligent Operation Center - HengQin (SGIOC-HQ) of GuangDong Power Grid Corporation and the proposed strategies are really effective and dependable.
