Abstract :
Based on the visualization platform of the dispatching technical support system of smart grid, an overall scheme design and application implementation of the visualization for power system dynamic monitoring is presented. The overall visualization process framework, the overall interface design and the application visual effects of power system dynamic monitoring based on the wide area measurement system (WAMS) are described in detail. It is indicated from its application in smart grid dispatching system of Jiangsu province in China that the visualization functions for the applications of WAMS can realize an efficient, accurate monitoring and alarming for the dynamic operation status of electric power system and allow operators to grasp important system information quickly and intuitively.
