Abstract :
The feasibility of vircator existence in a MITL is demonstrated in this report. We describe some structural peculiarities of vircator formation in such lines and discuss the nature of electron motion in such vircator. Usually, in the line only the potential monotones radial profiles become realizable with zero electric field on the cathode. The pre-supposed vircator existence leaves a possibility of finding solutions, involving the potential trough.
