Abstract :
The model of plasma producing in a gas by an electron beam is considered for the case of its propagation in a thin long tube in the presence of an axial magnetic field. Plasma is produced by means of ionization of neutral molecules by electrons of a beam and plasma. Plasma particles losses are conditioned with leaving of electrons for the tube ends and leaving of ions in the transverse direction for its lateral walls. The formula for plasma density obtained using the balance of its particles describes qualitatively rightly the process of plasma producing by an electron beam. Estimations demonstrate the satisfactory accordance with an experiment.
