Abstract :
The results of theoretical and experimental investigations of generators of stohastic microwave power based on beam-plasma amplifier with inertial back coupling is discussed. The conditions of instability of monhromatic generation and transition to stohastic regim have been obtained. Using of fase mechanism of stohastization allowed to creat the high efficiency device with output power up to 20 kW and spectral width about 30 per cent under continuous conditions of operation. The compression of spectrum by using of small input monohromatic signal with compression factor about 10−3 is realized. Such generators of stohastic mi- crowave power may be used for heating of plasma in fusion devices and creration of plasma in microwave discharge for plasma chemistry and ionospheric investigations.
