Abstract
The work presented in this paper is an effort to document the design of a non-invasive blood glucose concentration sensor. The sensor designed was a microwave oval spiral microstrip resonator. The designing process was undertaken in Sonnet project editor® which is freeware for microwave simulation. The simulation results verify that the resonant response of the sensor changes as the body impedance changes and hence may be used for continues non-invasive blood sugar monitoring. Also a block diagram of the proposed hardware is given which may be used to interface this sensor with a microcontroller for further experimentation.
