  • Abstract
    The iron and steel products logistics finance developed with high speed and the pledging rate is a major problem of iron and steel logistics finance within this industry. This paper introduces the Value-at-Risk model (VaR model) to calculate the steel products´ pledging rate, and based on empirical research and analysis this paper explored how to provide accurate and significantly pledge to improve the efficiency of the financing with VaR model based on the premise of risk control. It can carry out the logistics for the iron and steel enterprises to provide financial services.
