Abstract :
Although optical data transmission is the most practical method for long distant communication in Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) especially in underwater applications, it has also some inherent drawback such as limitation of speed in serial communication platform, maintenance and cost. This novel technique uses the fundamentals of the frequency that is generated by an embedded power supply which empowers the vehicle. An AC Voltage is generated from a DC source using variable frequencies that form as Frequency Modulation. Both the frequency and the duty cycle carry the means of controller commands. User defines a lookup table for navigation commands and data requisition. Using this technique requires a server that is inclusive of an embedded power converter.
