Abstract :
In this paper, the performance of SBR Interleaver [1] is evaluated in Rayleigh fading channel. Our proposed Interleaver showed to have near optimal properties of spread and dispersion [1]. These properties assure to have higher probability to distribute burst of errors into single error optimally. The results are carried out with coded and uncoded data in Rayleigh and AWGN channel with proposed Interleaver. Our method shows superior performance as compared to random Interleaver. Result shows that there is 2db improvement at BER 10-4 and more than 2db improvement at BER 10-5. Results are discussed in detail in performance evaluation section.
