Abstract :
The environment in which Indian industries are operating today is continuously changing in term of organisational culture and climate due to increase in international business and foreign assignment. The study conducted by us also coincides with these findings. Work stress leads to burnout in industry. Food habits leads to gastric problems. Musculoskeletal problems are also common in every industry. Adequate knowledge about coping up strategies can be helpful in avoiding stress. There is a need to design a training programme to do SWOT analysis regarding food habits, proper ergonomics, stress coping techniques will be of great help for an individual to avoid health hazards. Training programme is designed to maximize the effectiveness of an individual in order to contribute towards organisational output. Thus any individual can contribute their maximum output for the industry by managing the problems with positive attitude and avoiding absenteeism. The training programme are organised in this industry mainly to develop the knowledge in that field. But health hazards being a problem, a training module has been developed with the following objectives. To regulate the food habit, in order to prevent obesity and gastric problem. To educate about proper ergonomics at work station, in order to avoid musculoskeletal problem. To do SWOT analysis, in order to work with positive attitude and to manage job stress. Module -1 consists of introduction and collection of background information regarding food habits ailments encountered. Module - 2 consists of regulating food habits, proper ergonomics at work station. Module - 3 consists of group discussion regarding the stress encountered in work and coping up strategies to manage stress.
