  • Abstract
    Using the refined definition1, the beam brightness is evaluated for a few double-beam systems that are formed by two identical spatial distributions with Maxwellian beam. The resultant brightness are expressed in terms of the displacement distance between the two beams. It is found that the expressions are weakly dependent on the geometry of the individual beams and may be approximated by a piece-wise linear function.
