Abstract :
It was shown earlier, that microwave pulse duration in a relativistic microsecond generator is restricted in time by the electron beam radius enhancement. The method of fast magnetic decompression was proposed, that allows to stabilize the beam radius. This method was applied to the electron beam in a relativistic BWO and increased the microwave pulse duration.
