Abstract :
Hydroxyl radicals were measured by optical emission spectroscopy in air with nozzle electrode supplied with negative pulse high voltage. The cylinder steel reactor was grounded. The electrical characteristics of the discharge were provided. The effects of the pulse repeat frequency, the humidity of the air and the flow rate of the air on the hydroxyl radicals´ production were studied. Results show that higher pulse repeat frequency and lower flow rate of the air are helpful to the production of the hydroxyl radicals. The changing of the effect of the humidity of the air on the production of hydroxyl radicals isn´t linear.
