Abstract :
In order to accommodate the online application of dynamic security assessment system, new dynamic simulation software is developed on EMS/DTS platform. This paper proposed a test method to identify and modify the newly developed model program based on unit test by using hybrid simulation technology, in which each software component of models can be checked individually by taking an offline dynamic simulation program as benchmark. Compared to the traditional method based on detailed simulation on the whole network, the proposed method can eliminate the interference of other model software´s errors, and is very suitable to be used in the development of large software system. Based on this proposed method, a set of newly developed online dynamic simulation software is validated and put into practice in several provincial power grids control centers.
