Abstract :
This paper presents a comparative study of different IEEE standard excitation systems with and without power system stabilizer (PSS) by examining a case of single machine connected to an infinite bus system. To evaluate the robust behaviour of the PSS, different loading condition is been verified in this study.. Non linear simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK is applied in this system to show the effect of different excitation systems and PSS.
