  • Abstract
Water quality assessment of river is an important part of the comprehensive evaluation of the water resource. The indexes weight is determined by the variation coefficient of the water quality monitoring value. Through calculating the gray close degree in gray system theory between the monitoring values and the ideal ones, say quality standards, an improved attribute recognition model is established, which is applied to water quality assessment of Beijing Wenyu River. The result shows that the quality of all the sections monitored of the Wenyu River reaches V grade, and the result agrees with that of the entropy method, which validates the objectivity and rationality of this method.
