Research of Xi´an Expo´s city construction promoting role based on mathematical statistics

In this paper, the positive effects of Xi´an International Horticultural Expo in the city constructing field have been assessed quantitatively in two aspects. Firstly we use gray prediction model to quantitatively calculate the influence of Xi´an International Horticultural Expo to Xi´an´s overall economy. We conclude that, with the approach of the Expo, its economic role is gradually promoted. Then we establish the Logistic propagation model to study the changing trends of national public´s environmental protection awareness, which represents the promoting role of Xi´an Expo in urban construction.
