Abstract
One low-consumption, highly secure RFID security authentication system is studied and realized to address potential security hazards in RFID smart card chips and reduce chip´s costs and consumption. Symmetric encryption algorithm is designed and optimized to enhance RFID´s security features and make it enjoy such advantages as low consumption, low complexity and high security etc. Authentication system hardware is realized by adopting Smic 0.18μm CMOS manufacturing process and physical validation is successfully conducted on chips. When clock frequency is 100KHZ, only 10.0μA current is consumed and there are only 4,597 equivalent logic gates.
