Abstract
In this paper, a system of wireless energy transfer based on resonant coupling is established and an equivalent circuit model is analyzed. Some key system concepts such as frequency splitting and the maximum operating distance are validated through experiments. The efficiency is over 60% when the energy transfer distance is within 10cm for two-resonator system. The coupling between transmitter and receiver can be enhanced, and the energy transfer efficiency can be improved by relay resonators.
