Abstract
Vector control techniques are generally adopted to control conventional permanent magnet motors for high speed. These techniques have a limit on speed increase and risk of a demagnetization risk. To resolve this problem, some demerits such as nonlinearity absorber is presented. The flux absorber has advantages such as linear flux control and decrease of rebound forces. Three dimensional finite element analysis was performed to show the validity of the flux absorber.
