  • Abstract
We investigate an intrusion attack called automated intrusion which persists the control of victim system for long time. This attack combines intrusion techniques, encodings schemes and social engineering methods to enhance hacking capability. Experiments in local and wide-area networks show how this type of attack can penetrate a computer system and take control over multiple OSes. We then propose few countermeasures in order to protect networks and keep users informed of the attacks.
