Abstract :
An effective method based on AWE and preconditioning technique was used for solving wideband radar cross section (RCS) of PEC in this paper. At first the electric field integral equation (EFIE) of a PEC cylinder is solved by using the method of moments (MOM) and the impedance matrix was sparsed by using pre-conditions operator. It is more easily to obtain the surface current on the PEC cylinder with AWE and preconditioning technique to calculate RCS of the two-dimensional PEC cylinder. It is shown that the presented method could result in considerable CPU time saving, especially in large conductor target.
