Abstract :
A novel Rectangular Waveguide to microstripline multi-aperture directional coupler has been designed in this paper. Coupling between two different and cross-guide transmission lines is realized by slot in microstrip ground plane, the coupling is 35dB with the deviation of 0.8 dB, and the directivity is better than 20dB. This type of coupler is useful in applications where small size, flat coupling, high directivity and capability to carry high main-line power are required.
