Abstract :
For the security issues of Geographical and Energy Aware Routing (GEAR), we propose the Work-based Reputation Evaluation Secure Routing Algorithm (Work-based GEAR, W-GEAR). W-GEAR brings in the concept of “work” in wireless sensor networks, using sink confirm mechanism to record the real-time node data forwarding, considering the distance between nodes and the doing work factors, giving the node a comprehensive reputation evaluation to identify malicious attack node. NS2 simulation experiments show that the W-GEAR improves the ability of identifying malicious nodes and increases the security of GEAR.
