  • Abstract
    Business these days involves many people with different roles. All these roles are defined clearly in theory, but in practice one may experience a situation where his/her role in business is the deciding factor for the sustainability of the business. In short, any individual involving in any business may need to take up dynamic responsibilities to solve dynamic issues evolving in the process of doing business. In this context of modern dynamic business involving strategic decisions and managerial responsibilities, it is proposed to identify the extent to which the Indian Hindu Mythology has an impact over the current business trends. The affinity between Indian Hindu Mythology and Current Business has been described in this paper. Business in a society can be done through Foreign trade, Banking, Domestic trading and also in other forms. Even in Hindu Mythology there is a god called ‘Lord Kubera’ (the God of Wealth) who is a banker and gives loans to the gods like Lord Balaji and used to balance the economic wealth in the Society(in Heaven). This paper identifies the characteristics of that can be inherited from Hindu Mythological Context, which helps in performing a meaningful business. This survey relating the Hindu Mythology and the Business helps the current Business Corporate Leaders in understanding their responsibilities and solving certain Business issues, thereby enabling them to do an efficient, ethical and meaningful business.
