Abstract :
With the heat conduction system requiring high-quality performance, advanced control is needed. The conventional PID, as a widely used control method, is likely to reach the limit of control performance. In this paper, an extended model predictive PID control is proposed by using the algorithm of model predictive control. By this method, PID gains are tuned at each control period with consideration of the temperature constraints. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the numerical simulations.
