Abstract
Wireless communication systems are increasing to be installed into industrial automation plants these days. Many wireless systems often uses same radio band, so wireless coexistence management is important in this situation. This paper introduces standardization activities about coexistence management of wireless communication in industrial automation. Standardization of industrial wireless is considered in IEC/SC65, and activities of related WGs under SC65C are also presented. Coexistence management of industrial wireless system is being developed in WG17 as IEC 62657-2, and overview of this developing standard is explained.
