Abstract :
It is important to examine the effects of elastic deformation of the press and dies on product accuracy. This paper describes the elastic deformation of the die structure in a servo press. Strains of the die and the servo press were measured during deep drawing relatively thick products. A finite-element simulation was then performed to clarify the elastic deformation of the die structure.
