Abstract
A brief introduction to the necessity of studying the management across cultures between China and the United States (US) takes precedence firstly in this paper. Then the contrast of Hofstede´s four cultural dimensions will be held, including Individualism versus Collectivism, Power distance, Uncertainty avoidance, Masculinity versus Femininity. And then, some advices will be put forward to promote bilateral cross-cultural Management. They are: Recognizing the difference of cultures; Sensitive training; Establishing common managing concept and enterprise culture; Implementing local strategy. Finally a conclusion is made that culture harmony can promote bilateral understanding and trust between China and US and improve cross-cultural management.
