The study on evaluating competitiveness of colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province by the cluster analysis method

The paper, of which the research object is the colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province, establishes comprehensive evaluation indices for colleges and universities competitiveness, on the basis of systematic investigation to some colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province and expert interviews. This paper also valuates evaluation indices system by the method of expert scoring. Furthermore, it conducts a quantitative classification to the colleges and universities to be evaluated by using the function of level cluster analysis of spss 16.0, a statistics software analysis tool. Finally, a conclusion is drawn on whether colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province have strong or weak competitiveness.
