Evaluation and empirical study on regional low-carbon economic development—Take Shandong province as an example

According to the connotation and basic requirements of low-carbon economy, this paper designs the evaluation indexes of regional low-carbon economic development, and analyzes Shandong as an example. On the basis of corresponding data, this paper evaluates low-carbon economic developing situation in Shandong during the “eleventh five-year plan” period, and puts forewords the countermeasures of low-carbon economy development in Shandong. The countermeasures conclude optimizing energy structure and improving energy using efficiency, promoting low-carbon technology, optimizing the industrial structure and developing low carbon industries, carrying out the construction of carbon sinks and promoting biological carbon storage.
