Abstract :
To satisfy the needs of small quantities of repair parts and the requirements of many kinds of products of modern weapons and equipments support, it is necessary to shorten the product development cycle and reduce the cost of development to complete the product design and manufacture of complex products, resolve the difficulties of copying equipments of import or out of production. In this paper, the basic principle, characteristic, sort and application direction of RP technology are briefly introduced. The application of RP (Rapid Prototyping) technology used in weapon equipment elements rapid manufacturing is analyzed integrating with example.
