Abstract
In this paper, influences of filter installation errors on image quality are studied for airborne multispectral imager. The results show that focus length changes has little influence on image quality, and focus movements caused by filter installation errors have bigger influence on image quality and resolution. In order to get better images, filters should be installed carefully, and keep them parallel with the image plane. Influences of mechanical vibration on filter distortion should be avoided as well.
