Abstract :
In this paper, we present numerical simulations of forest scattering in bistatic configuration. The aim is to compare the influence of the structure of the forest on typical measurement parameters in a bistatic and polarimetric framework. Bistatic configuration pledges advantages of cost and stealth. The scattering model COBISMO has been developped to simulate such configurations. Simulations are performed on four forest structures with different dispositions of branches. Results show an important influence of branch inclinations but not a real influence of their position.
