Abstract :
In CSCL research, coordination of different types of resources appears to be the essence of collaborative activity. This study proposes a methodological approach for studying coordination of resources when solving geometry problems in the context of dynamic geometry software. The aim is to suggest a methodological lens to capture both the content-related and social discourse. These resources are investigated by looking at mathematical and tool-enabled, and collaborative resources. The present study also provides an analysis of empirical data collected in a face-to-face setting as an example.
