  • Abstract
    In this paper, design methods of general fuzzy systems as function approximators are given respectively by the following three different conditions to be approximated: 1. The formulas of the functions are known; 2. The formulas of the functions are unknown, but for any input of the functions, we can get the corresponding output; 3. We only know limit pairs of input-output data of the functions. Finally, an example is given to show how to design a general fuzzy system to approximate a given function by a required accuracy.
