  • Abstract
The wind turbine generator system (WTGS) is connected to the grid from one point of power system. When the faults of power grid occur, the behavior of WTGS has an important influence on motivating the brittleness of power system. The model of power system with WTGS is built up by using cellular automata theory. Taking IEEE standard-6 node power system for example, based on the presented algorithm and steps, the brittleness problem of power system with WTGS is studied. With the number and low voltage ride through (LVRT) of WTGS being connected to grid considered, the analysis and conclusion are also given. The presented method can provide help for choosing the types of WTGS to the grid in reality.
