Abstract :
This paper establishes the two order differential optimal approximation model for the thread pitch diameter equivalence. By considering the pitch deviation, accumulative pitch deviation and angle deviation and their combined influence on the pitch diameter, we use the ideal thread to approximate the actual thread in two dimensional radially and axially space. The optimal two order differential approximate formulation is given in this paper.
