Abstract
This research proves that in an undergraduate Basic Digital Technology course, communication between teachers and students can be increased through the use of feedback comment sheets, which is effective in performing conceptual teaching. With the use of conceptual teaching, students become more active towards learning, gaining intrinsic motivation and confidence as they communicate more with the teacher and the students around. The research contains analysis of comment sheets from the course of Basic Digital Technology given by Kawan Soetanto in School of International Liberal Studies of Waseda University from 2005 to present (2012).
