  • Abstract
    This paper presents interactive study method using animation applet to visually describe the difficult sections of high voltage engineering course for undergraduate of electrical engineering and automation in order to enhance students´ ability to grasp the fundamental concepts. The animation applets are designed by students under the guidance of instructor. Through the program making, the students learn how to process a research program, understand the content of textbook thoroughly and enhance their ability to face the future work. Meanwhile, the applets are also applied into classroom instruction. This interactive teaching approach is also helpful to expend the faculty´s pedagogical research.
