Abstract
Cloud computing is the current trend for business web applications which provide computing related services to the users. Cloud computing locates resources, distribute tasks and collects data from appropriate servers from a cluster of networked computers. Major advantages of the cloud computing include reduced cost of operation and maintenance compared to the usage of resources. It also makes it easy for users to find and process their request quickly. Hardware-based remote-triggered laboratories are used for educational and industrial purposes where the user remotely controls the instrument and conducts experiments. In this paper, methodologies for implementation of the cloud computing concepts and practices in the development of remote laboratories are discussed.
