Abstract :
Innovation education is complicated since it is cross-disciplinary covering creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. This paper reports a PIPE Model (Problem-Idea-Product-Enterprise) to motivate and inspire students to actively learn along the process from discovering problems, generating new ideas, proposing new products to planning new enterprises. The PIPE model has been implemented in a GE course at City University of Hong Kong and won several awards so far. The model is very structural and operational. It can be transferred to any other universities. It has been shared in over 50 universities in China.
