  • Abstract
    An innovation-oriented teaching and learning methodology is presented in this paper for undergraduate education of telecommunications. To inspire the innovative mindset of the students and keep them actively participated in the course, several innovation-oriented approaches and programs have been developed to associate with the lecture part. The proposed methodology has been used in 2012-13 Spring semester for the course titled Principles of Telecommunications. Positive effect has been demonstrated by students´ active participation through the course, and through their innovative ways of thinking showing from the assignments and the lab design.
