Abstract
Further informationization, especially the new generation of information technology and the wide use of Internet have promoted the industrial integration and innovation, which contribute to appearance of the emerging industries. In this paper, related theories for formation model of emerging industries that is driven by domestic and foreign information technology are arranged in proper order. Namely, the paper systematically reviews the theories and practice about industries merging and innovation promoted by information technology. It has significant for us to study on the development of strategic emerging industries.
